About Us

Neat & Tidy Landscaping

Neat & Tidy Landscaping was founded by Evan Le with a simple goal: help homeowners reclaim overgrown landscapes through honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and practical long-term solutions.

Before starting the company, Evan worked as a web developer, where success depended on understanding how complex systems worked together. Over time, he realized landscapes work much the same way.

An overgrown yard isn’t usually caused by one problem.

It may be years of deferred maintenance, invasive plants spreading underground, poor plant spacing, exposed soil, or changing sunlight conditions. Simply trimming everything back may improve the appearance for a few weeks, but it rarely solves the underlying issue.

That systems-based mindset became the foundation of Neat & Tidy Landscaping.

Today, our team specializes in restoring neglected landscapes throughout Seattle and King County. Every project begins by understanding how the property functions, then recommending practical improvements that make it healthier and easier to maintain.

What We Do

We specialize in:

  • Overgrown yard cleanup
  • Landscape restoration
  • Manual weed removal
  • Garden bed cleanup
  • Shrub trimming and hedge pruning
  • Light tree pruning
  • Blackberry removal
  • English ivy removal
  • Bamboo removal
  • Mulch installation
  • Gravel installation
  • Yard waste hauling

Whether we’re restoring a backyard that’s been neglected for years or preparing a home for sale, our goal is always the same: leave the property clean, organized, and ready to enjoy.

What Makes Us Different

Many landscaping companies focus on routine mowing or quick cleanups.

We specialize in the projects that most companies avoid.

Overgrown yards, invasive blackberry, English ivy, bamboo, steep slopes, and properties that haven’t been maintained for years are the work we do every day.

We also believe homeowners deserve honest advice. If a simpler solution will accomplish the same goal, we’ll recommend it. If a problem requires ongoing maintenance instead of an expensive one-time fix, we’ll explain why.

Our recommendations are based on what we believe is best for the property—not on selling the largest project.

Our Approach

Every landscape is different, so every proposal is tailored to the property.

We look at the condition of the soil, existing plants, invasive species, drainage, sunlight, and long-term maintenance needs before recommending a solution.

Sometimes the answer is removing invasive plants.

Sometimes it’s restoring garden beds with mulch.

Sometimes it’s selective pruning to improve plant health.

Our goal isn’t just to make your yard look better when we leave.

It’s to make it easier to maintain for years to come.

Why Homeowners Choose Us

  • Specialists in overgrown yard cleanup and landscape restoration
  • Experienced with blackberry, ivy, and bamboo removal
  • Manual weed removal without routine herbicide use
  • Honest recommendations with no unnecessary upselling
  • Skilled, detail-oriented crews
  • Complete debris hauling and thorough cleanup
  • Licensed, bonded, and insured

We believe the best landscaping isn’t measured by how dramatic it looks on the day the job is finished.

It’s measured by how well the landscape continues to perform long afterward.

Healthy landscapes begin with healthy systems.
